I'm Amrit Pal Singh — a visual artist, 3D illustrator, and art director who revels in play, world cinema, and the occasional side of fries. My creative style is renowned for its whimsical 3D illustrations, diversity-driven designs, and NFTs. I graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2012.

For over a decade, I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with clients worldwide, designing everything from mobile apps and picture books to card games and digital toys.

I'm particularly proud of my collection of Toy Faces & Toy Rooms, a series of nostalgic artworks available as NFTs that evoke a sense of childlike wonder.

In February 2021, I minted my first NFT - Frida Toy Face - which sold for 3.9 ETH. Since then, I've created over 102 artworks as NFTs, with primary sales of over a million USD.

Artist Statement

As a visual artist, my work aims to translate pivotal moments in pop culture into enduring digital artefacts or as I call them non-fungible toys. My chosen medium for achieving this is Toy Faces, a collection of portraits that are reminiscent of childhood toys and evoke feelings of nostalgia and comfort.

Each Toy Face is carefully crafted to capture the subject's unique features, personality, and spirit. I pay special attention to the colors and patterns on each portrait, using them to enhance the toy-like aesthetic.

My inspiration for Toy Faces comes from my own love of toys and the memories they bring. I believe that toys have a special ability to transport us back to a time when life was simpler and full of wonder. With each Toy Face, I hope to tap into that sense of childlike curiosity and create a connection between the viewer and the subject.

In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming and chaotic, Toy Faces are a reminder of the power of simplicity. I hope that Toy Faces bring a sense of comfort and joy to those who view them, and that they serve as a reminder that there is always room for a little bit of playfulness in our lives.
